In light of the current environment, Coppell Swim School will be implementing these policies and procedures in an effort to limit physical contact during this swim season. Our gates will be propped open for entry and exit and we ask that you AVOID touching anything other than your own belongings.

Entry/Exit

  • Parking will still be located on Tanager between Bethel School and Blue Jay Ln
  • Please enter through the front gate when ARRIVING for lessons
  • Please exit through the back gate and walk around the house when LEAVING lessons
  • Drop off and pick up PROMPTLY to help limit the number of people at the pool at any given time
  • Do not stop to visit with friends and family during drop off/pick up
  • Please text me if there is something that needs to be discussed rather than trying to communicate between lessons, and I will be happy to talk to you outside of lessons

Waivers

  • Paperwork should be completed and ready to drop off BEFORE you arrive for lessons so that there is no sharing of pens.
  • Children will NOT be allowed to stay for a lesson without waivers and paperwork signed before the lesson begins

Personal Belongings

  • Please bring a bag that will hold your child’s towel, shoes, shirt, etc during the lesson.  Each child’s bag will be set on the deck in its own space.

Restroom

  • We strongly encourage you to have your child use the bathroom at home prior to the lessons.  There is a bathroom available for emergent needs of PARTICIPANTS ONLY (children MUST be able to use the bathroom independently).  Please come already dressed for the pool as there WILL NOT be an area for changing before or after lessons.  The bathroom will be cleaned between lessons.

Snacks

  • Unfortunately, we will not be providing snacks at this time after lessons in order to reduce physical contact.

Watch Day

  • Each participant’s parent(s) will have the opportunity to attend for an assigned 10 minute block on the last day of class.  There will be an umbrella under which to stand for the allotted time (depending on wind conditions).  Multiple families will not watch simultaneously as we try to minimize traffic and encourage social distancing as much as possible.
